The Surf and Sew Homestead

While from the outside it might appear that we are just beginning our homesteading journey, but in reality, it has been years in the making. We have taken baby steps, and finally a giant leap to where we were able to move ourselves to a more self-sufficient home and hopefully we will continue to grow in that journey and add to our cupboard, garden, and homestead year after year. 

This little trio pretty perfectly captures our garden adventure last year. Planning and sowing, just getting transplants in and seedlings popping up, and then a big cheers to the lushness of our garden in most of its glory.

I had started writing blog posts last summer season and just never got to putting them up. In this past year I have found passion in sharing our journey on instagram and I really just need some more space to share and learn with others.
