Hi, my name is Marissa and most of the blog posts will come off of my fingertips, though this journey will be that of our whole family. During the summer you will find me out in our garden or at the beach, and during the months it is too cold for that you will find me in our cozy home buried under needle and thread. I am an avid cross stitcher, quilter, and crocheter.

I would say that we are just beginning our homesteading journey, but in reality, it has been years in the making. We have taken baby steps where we were able to move ourselves to a more self-sufficient home and hopefully we will continue to grow in that journey and add to our cupboard, garden, basement, and homestead year after year.
